Kat Kohl is currently pursuing her MFA in Sculpture + Extended Media at the University of Texas at Austin, having previously received her BA in Art & Art History at Colgate University. She has shown work in the Socrates Sculpture Park/Hans Ulrich Obrist’s “do it” outside exhibition, Bruce High Quality Foundation’s “Last Brucennial”, “Constructed,Combined, Collaged & Congruent” at Galerie Protégè, “No Object” at Trestle Project Space, and “Composition of the Surrounding” at AES/Repetti Gallery. Kohl was selected as a 2016 recipient of the SOMA Summer Residency in Mexico City, and has been an artist in residence at the Atlantic Center for the Arts Residency and at Gullkistan in Iceland. Kohl's work was included in the e-flux/Serpentine Galley AUP Archive for Art Basel and has been highlighted in the Huffington Post, CBS News and
Digital Photo Pro.
