Kettle Moraine School District - Superintendent
Patricia Deklotz has served the past 10 years as superintendent of Kettle Moraine School District, a K-12 district serving 4,200 students in southeastern Wisconsin. Most recently, DeKlotz was recognized by the Wisconsin Association of School District Administrators as Wisconsin’s 2016 Superintendent of the Year, for her leadership in transforming the district’s schools to better and more efficiently meet the needs of all students through personalized learning. Under DeKlotz’s leadership, KMSD has created three charter high schools and one elementary charter, a Youth Apprenticeship Advanced Manufacturing Certificate diploma, a multi-age, project-based middle school learning environment, and personalized professional development through teacher micro-credentials and educator career pathways. DeKlotz also led a successful $49.6M bond referendum in 2014, the largest on the ballot in the state, to address technology infrastructure and learning space needs in all district school buildings.
