Quick Bio

A strategist of new education ventures, Molly is the program lead for the Teachers Guild, an initiative of IDEO’s Design for Learning Studio. Fascinated by how digital communities accelerate innovation and increase access to new opportunities, Molly advised the TEDPrize on Sugata Mitra’s School in the Cloud, consulted on Skype’s social good strategy,and started her own social network for school entrepreneurs in the developing world. Most of her career has been outside the U.S. In India she launched Gray Matters Capital’s school rating business, and in Honduras scaled the Riecken Foundation’s library system. Molly holds an MPA from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), has a BA from the University of Oregon, and was an Education Pioneer and a Peace Corps Volunteer.
