Quick Bio

Tommaso Lana (Milan, Italy 1978) is a teaching artist based in Berlin, Germany. He has been working for government and private sectors in several European countries since 2008.
Tommaso leads very hands-on PD trainings targeting grown-ups who work with and for young children on topics such as: Communication through Sensory Skills, Perception in Psychomotor Education, Self-guided Learning in Natural Environments.
Tommaso designed guided tours & PD sessions for early education leaders as Manager of Visitor Services at the interactive exhibit “Experience Field for the Development of the Senses,” Wiesbaden, Germany. He was also co-director at critically acclaimed, 2011 award-winning social-art/education project “Paradise 2,” Lusatia, Germany.
In 2014-2015 Tommaso curated the “Learning Outside” exhibit at The Preschool Museum, Falkensee, Berlin and performed at SXSWedu 2016 on the topic Fostering Motion and Creativity Outdoors.
He has a master’s degree in history from the University of Milan.
