Buck Institute for Education - Sr. Director, Innovation and Partnership Development
Rody is the Director of Professional Services at the Buck Institute for Education and leads the development and dissemination of professional development activities for Project Based Learning around the nation and world. He oversees BIE’s National Faculty, a consultant community of 100 members made up of PBL practitioners, leaders, and experts.
A former principal, school coach, and teacher at PBL schools, Rody has comprehensive experience in instruction and leadership for PBL. He began his career teaching overseas, followed by seven years as a high school English teacher. He was a founding member of a New Tech Network school in Davis, CA, where he served as principal before joining the staff at BIE.
Rody has a BA in English from U.C. Berkeley, M.Ed. from U.C. Riverside, M.Ed. from University of La Verne, and an Ed.D. from U.C. Davis.
