Quick Bio

Hi! I'm Marisa Vickery, the mom of two boys, an educator, innovator, STEM & STEAM advocate, Drone Edu aficionado, Maker, Learner, and the Facilitator of Learning & Innovation (FLI) at Walnut Springs Elementary School in Dripping Springs ISD.

I have had the opportunity to present at TCEA, The Austin Mini-Maker Faire, and ISTE conferences, was named the TCEA High Impact Teacher for 2017, participated in the United States Patent and Trademark Office Teacher Institute of 2015, and was named the Texas Trailblazer of the Year in 2015 by the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. Currently I'm involved with the Texas Girls Collaborative Project as a Champion Board Member and I love to spend my spare time traveling, fishing, taking my boys to ball games, and creating ways to inspire students and educators to make learning FUN!
