Summary

Hosted by Public Consulting Group: When is too early or too late to put our kids on a path for lifelong success? Preparing youth with the skills needed to secure jobs and live the life they desire is critical. Significant evidence indicates birth to 3rd grade is the crucial period to creating a foundation for good health, well-being, and for being able to achieve success socially, academically and in the workforce. Those who fall behind early, stay behind. Cross-sectoral collaboration between Health, Human Services, and Education is a must. This convergence of efforts is key to addressing early childhood development and exponentially increasing future opportunities for our youth, thus achieving 2 + 2 = 6.
