Summary

Short educational videos on YouTube and other platforms regularly reach more people than broadcast or cable TV, and the numbers continue to swell as freelancers and institutions flock to this strange new world. So, how do you make creative videos that really stand out—while still being informative and accurate? This panel, featuring producers of the popular YouTube series It’s Okay To Be Smart, BrainCraft, Gross Science and TED-Ed, will dissect examples of excellent short form educational videos to explain what made them successful. We’ll also explore tips for writing clear, informative and engaging scripts, and discuss how to get your target audience to watch your content.
