Summary

S.T.A.T. (Students and Teachers Accessing Tomorrow) is the multi-year transformation of BCPS into a complete 21st century digital learning environment to prepare globally-competitive graduates. Three years ago BCPS began S.T.A.T. by first redesigning curriculum in the core content areas to redefine what instruction looks like in a blended learning environment, while placing a stronger emphasis on critical thinking and analytical skills. After an initial pilot in 10 elementary schools, S.T.A.T. has been expanded into all elementary schools and is now being phased-in at the middle school level. New this year, there are three pilot high schools implementing S.T.A.T. at all grade levels.
