Summary

This interactive, hands-on workshop demonstrates how the storyboarding process can be applied to course design to enhance instruction and activate student engagement. Participants will analyze their courses and create storyboards that break down varying facets of their material, from the syllabus to individual assignments. A variety of educational techniques and innovative tools for implementation will be discussed, along with a demonstration of how to use storyboards as prototypes. Ultimately, participants will come away from this workshop with a new framework for looking at course design and an understanding of an iterative design process that can be applied across all disciplines.
