Summary

Couldn’t any classroom, corridor or closet be “hacked” into an innovative learning space with some careful planning, the right toolkit, a little creativity and a bit of elbow grease? This librarian/strategist/architect-led workshop will leverage a free online resource (www.learningspacetoolkit.org) to help participants learn how to imagine, develop and implement creative solutions to improve their own learning and teaching environments. Organizing into project teams, participants will take on a design challenge, working through a series of creative thinking exercises and hands-on design techniques drawn from the toolkit to collaboratively program, prototype and evaluate their solutions.
