Summary

Users of all levels will develop a better understanding of Design Thinking, a creative problem solving process, and learn how to support a choice-rich learning experience that is developmentally appropriate and fits within the bounds of the school day. You will be supported as you participate in a Design Thinking experience in a group of learners. After an empathy/needs gathering process you will design a puppet based on the user’s needs. You will have access to tools and resources needed to prototype a response to your users needs and share it for feedback. Users will develop an understanding of how to use Design Thinking in elementary education to create a context for meaningful making.
