Summary

When is the last time you saw students running, cheering, laughing, and shoulder bumping, to sign up for a course? Why does this happen? A daily student led EdCamp period. Learn how your school can decrease discipline, improve attendance, academic performance, empower student voice and increase test scores by creating a daily student led EdCamp period. Learn how to create a culture that thrives on building relationships, empowers all learners and promotes risk taking/exploration without fearing failure. Our EdCamp period has helped to shatter the notion of “playing school.” In the process, we’ve cultivated a new sense of curiosity, wonder and awe among our students and staff.
