Summary

#innov8ece

80%+ of brain development occurs before the age of five. Children build foundational skills in their first five years that will affect the rest of their learning and life. Only 48% of U.S. children from a low-income background are kindergarten ready versus 75% of children raised in a higher income family. The movement for government and philanthropy to invest in early learning continues to accelerate, but it has been primarily directed toward important, yet traditional approaches. Can we think differently about how we impact early learners? Panelists will share innovative approaches to supporting children and their parents and caregivers in developing a base for lifelong learning and thriving.
