Summary

Is creativity learnable or just an innate gift some are born with? Everyone is born creative! It’s also a skill that can be taught, nurtured and developed. Then why have recent studies revealed that creativity has been declining in the U.S. during the past two decades, with the most significant decline among kindergartners through sixth graders? Creativity is at the core of innovation and is vital for economic growth and development. This expert panel will explore the main drivers behind today’s creativity crisis and discuss how project-based learning methods can play a major role in teaching creativity as well as help children remain creative throughout their entire pre-K-12 experiences.
