Summary

When a student approaches administrators after experiencing an assault or personal crisis that wasn't handled to their satisfaction, administrators have a perfect chance to investigate how the system went wrong, and where fixes can be made. Learn from two student activists who after starting petitions and organizing on-campus rallies to raise awareness about their experiences, sat down with administrators at their U.S. colleges to construct a better system together. Because of their collaborative work to identify where university processes could improve, one of these colleges is now on its way to becoming a role model for the rest of the nation.
