Summary

#STEM4Kids

Harnessing children's natural curiosity is an outstanding way to deepen their relationship with science. In this session, participants will explore three strategies that demonstrably boost curiosity in young scientists through the frame of a STEM-based field trip entitled Eeew-bleck: Liquid or Solid? Session participants will be taken through a condensed version of this hands-on Pre-K through 2nd grade field trip in order to experience what it means to use interactive reading strategies, ask open-ended questions, and incorporate different learning styles into STEM-based activities. Participants will enjoy getting a little messy and experimenting with real oobleck!
