The majority of students with emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD) are instructed in general education settings, presenting a significant challenge for classroom teachers and school-based support teams. This presentation outlines important considerations for the responsible inclusion of students with EBD as well as strategies that can potentially improve student academic and behavioral outcomes. Areas for future research are also discussed.
