Summary

Schools for students with learning differences, such as dyslexia and ADHD, have had no choice but to employ evidence-based, best practice instructional approaches. When we don't, our students simply do not learn. Although it is true that reduced teacher/student ratios are an important element of our educational model and this model is relatively expensive, having fewer students in a classroom by itself, does not guarantee success. Backed up by a proliferation of brain research from the past 20 years, the session will present 10 ideas that can be used in almost all educational settings with almost all types of learners.
