Summary

Should students be able to influence how and what they learn? Some say no; students need the discipline of a teacher-directed, traditional classroom. Others say that all students do better with greater agency and control. Who’s right? And if agency matters, then how should classrooms change? During this Core Conversation, Jenn argues for project-based learning as the key to student agency, Heather defends blended learning, and we’ll rely on you to help us arrive upon the final verdict.
