Prepare Students for Tomorrow, Teach the Future Today

We usually say that school prepares students for the future, but most of the time we focus on teaching facts and history. In our current world of exponential change and increasing uncertainty and complexity, students need skills and tools that allow them to navigate the present, understand change, and encourage creative and imaginative thinking about possible futures. This talk will show how including futures thinking in the curriculum is a growing global movement, sharing cross-cultural success initiatives and international instructional approaches.
