Storytelling to Remove Barriers to Educational Opportunity
Join a dynamic team from the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund (LDF) – the organization that litigated Brown v. Board of Education – to learn how you can use policy, research, and digital storytelling to identify and curb barriers to opportunity and success for students in the education system. By analyzing LDF’s successful strategy to eliminate discriminatory grooming policies in schools across the country, participants will learn how to develop campaigns that keep students in the classroom, ensure a sense of collective belonging, and advance national change.
