Recent US stats show that while Social Emotional Learning is better known to parents & public, it's not fully understood & actively supported by most parents or by the larger community-its merits obscure to many. Local media, businesses & community orgs across the country remain significantly uninformed, allowing both ignorance and energized opponents to forestall full implementation of SEL or to undermine local and state funding. This workshop would present successful means to energize adoption in local communities and states and give attendees an opportunity to share their successes.
