How to Measure & Communicate the Value of Higher Education
Consumers of higher education want to know that their investment will pay off. But determining how to measure the economic returns of a degree has not been easy. And getting that information to consumers can be challenging. The session will start with the audience interacting with college ROI data and discussing the methodology and results. Then Jen Dirmeyer, representing an aspiring college accreditor, will moderate a discussion with an economist, a researcher of consumer opinion, and a foundation leader on the different approaches to measuring and sharing the value of higher education.
