What Makes Us Human? Preparing Young People for the AI Age

This panel explores how we can place students' humanity at the core of their learning experience. We'll examine strategies for fostering human connection, self-discovery, and purpose in high school students, nurturing qualities that set us apart from AI – our agency, purpose, courage, human connection, and unique perspectives. By cultivating these distinctly human facets of life, we can prepare students not just to coexist with AI, but to thrive by leveraging their creativity, empathy, and ability to ask profound questions.
