“ULTIMATE CITIZENS” Screening & Q&A

Mar 3, 2025

11:00am – 12:10pm CT

In ULTIMATE CITIZENS, school counselor Jamshid Khajavi builds a world-class Ultimate Frisbee team from the immigrant children arriving each year at Hazel Wolf K-8 School in Seattle. As families struggle to make a home and a living in one of the nation’s most expensive cities, Khajavi helps kids cope with grief and loss, while also teaching conflict resolution and sex education in the classroom. Khajavi is a funny, fiery “outsider” with a Frisbee in hand who proves that love wins, no matter how many points are scored on the field.
