Bobbi-Ann Barnes

Bobbi-Ann Barnes is the Assistant Superintendent in Deer Lakes School District located about twenty miles north of Pittsburgh. She is responsible for ensuring academic success for grades K-12. She has led the development of new curriculum maps and frameworks to align with state standards and best practices in teaching, learning and family engagement. Bobbi-Ann has coordinated professional development session of various topics to enhance instructional practices in the areas of Portrait of a Learner, Data Review, Google, Differentiated Instruction, Project Based Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Suicide and Mental Health. Prior to Deer Lakes, Bobbi-Ann served as an elementary principal and led her staff to be recognized by the U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School.
