Marcela Andres

Marcela is an architect of dreams and one of her deepest beliefs is the power of partnership between families, educators and communities to support students to live out their life purpose. Marcela serves as the President and CEO of designEDengagement, PBC, a Latina-owned education consulting company. Previously, Marcela was the Program Director of Raising Family Partnerships with Raise Your Hand Texas, where she led the research, design, and implementation of a state-wide family engagement principal fellowship. Marcela also served as the Founding Operations Manager supporting the opening of four charter schools under the KIPP National network in Austin. Marcela earned a B.B.A. from Saint Edward's University with and M.Ed. from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
