Matthew Stanski

Matt is a senior-level executive with extensive experience managing finances for complex organizations. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Anne Arundel County Public Schools in Maryland. Prior to this, Matt worked as a Chief Financial Officer for the School District of Philadelphia as well as Prince George’s County Public Schools, where he was responsible for an annual operating budget of $1.6 billion. In this role, he successfully implemented student-based budgeting for 180 schools to target funds based on student need; a process that resulted in a $350M reduction in the budget over a three year period, while seeing double digit gains in student achievement. He holds a Master of Public Policy and Administration from Michigan State University.
