Josie Gutierrez

Deeply rooted in the Latino community, Josie Gutierrez has had a lifelong dedication to celebrating her heritage. Josie initially founded the FitFunand blog about her enthusiasm for outdoor fitness and, after quickly establishing a significant following, connected with nonprofit Latino Outdoors. After seven years as the Latino Outdoors Program Coordinator, Josie now serves as the San Antonio Regional Coordinator, giving her the opportunity to promote programs that reflect her own childlike wonderment of Mother Nature and passion for the outdoors for all. Josie also serves on the Regional Council for the National Parks Conservation Association and on the Texas Parks & Wildlife Urban Council and is currently helping develop a San Antonio Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights.
