Deidra Fogarty

Deidra, a native of Bridgeport, Connecticut, is an experienced educator, consultant, and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the education field. Throughout her career, she has held various roles including educator, coach, and school leader. In 2015, Deidra founded Black Girls Teach, an organization focused on providing professional development for Black women educators and leaders. Additionally, the organization offers DEI consulting services to executive leaders and fosters a membership community for Black women educators and leaders. Presently, Deidra focuses her efforts on Black Girls Teach, dedicating her time to both her consulting business and providing invaluable support and coaching to educators seeking to establish and expand their education business.
