Arana Shapiro

Arana is a parent, educator, and Chief Operations and Programs Officer at Games for Change at Games for Change, where she oversees game-based learning programs and partnerships for schools, organizations and families, and supports a growing global community of educators using games in the classroom. As the former Executive Director of the Institute of Play (IOP), Arana was part of the founding team that designed and opened the first-ever school with a game-like learning model - the NYC public school, Quest to Learn.
