The Future of Mental Health Education

The youth mental health crisis is a giant puzzle. Mental health education in schools is one missing piece. This session provides participants with a public health approach that schools can take to teach mental health literacy and have educators use their personal stories to safely normalize conversations about mental health in the classroom. When schools have a common language to use for mental health they can be more proactive with these issues. Participants will learn clear ways to change their school's culture to improve the mental health of administrators, educators and students.
