It’s no secret that teachers are increasingly frustrated with their jobs. They feel overworked and under-supported given the important work they do. How did we get here, and what can we do to help teachers feel more respected and empowered as professionals? One piece of the puzzle is giving teachers more support to grow as professionals, plus more opportunities to lead in a meaningful way that’s not just more busy work on their plates.
