Holocaust Education Through Art
In the words of Theodor Adorno (1966), "the premier demand upon all education is that Auschwitz not happen again". This session will demonstrate how Holocaust education can be provided in age-appropriate manner through art (painting, literature and music), focusing on the values of becoming upstanders against bigotry and hate, critical thinking, and making right choices when facing evil propaganda.
