Latino Voters, Education, & the 2024 Election

Since the start of COVID-19, education has become a hot-button issue that many are utilizing to organize new voters and activate parents. Unfortunately, much of that conversation has not focused on the needs of Latinos. This panel will spotlight Latino parents, youth, educators, and voters, highlighting the priorities they want to see in education and why it’s essential not to lose sight of these parents during discussions about parent power and the youth vote. We’ll also hear from Voto Latino and how they registered over 1.4 million Americans since 2004, 79% of whom went on to vote.
