Addressing Inequity in Rural Education Through Collaboration

One in five public school students in America attend rural schools. Rural students have unlimited potential, but rural districts often have limited resources compared to urban and suburban communities. In this session, participants will hear how rural districts are addressing inequities in rural education by embracing formal collaboration between districts, higher education, and the local workforce to expand access to post-secondary and career pathways for students and how this unique structural innovation can be replicated across the country to impact the lives of rural students.
