The Time Is Now: A New Playbook for Education Leadership

Women face both systemic and informal obstacles to advancement in education. Despite the fact that the teaching workforce is majority female, less than one third of school district superintendents are women. Change requires action at the federal, state, and district levels. This session will explore approaches to transforming the education leadership ladder and delve into the experiences of groundbreaking women who’ve landed the top roles at the state and district level. These experts will offer strategies and policies for leaders at every level of education to close the leadership gap.
