Inclusive STEM Content: How to Make Science for Everybody

Science content garners billions of views on YouTube, but there is a distinct lack of representation among the top STEM content creators on YouTube. As part of a multi-year grant from the National Science Foundation, PBS is experimenting with new ways to make science content online more accessible by identifying, testing, and implementing tactics to better reach three underrepresented groups in STEM: Black and Hispanic audiences, and women overall. Attendees will hear from creators and experts about results from this work, and receive inclusive science communication best practices.
