Supervising Principals of Color to Lead Liberated
Recent research has proven the positive impact leaders of color have on students of color; however, deeply entrenched racism in our educational institutions is driving principals of color to leave their positions before they can create sustainable change. We will share the work of Lead Liberated’s Antiracist Collective and the leadership shifts we’ve seen supervisors make to support their principals of color to thrive - rooted in our fundamental belief that in order to achieve non racialized student outcomes, we must talk about and address racism everywhere it exists, starting with ourselves.
