Teachers are burned out, and teacher shortages are hitting districts nationwide. What’s the role of virtual learning in reshaping how we recruit, train, hire, and deploy teachers? Can virtual learning be a lever to fundamentally change how we think about what it means to be a teacher, allowing for flexibility, better distribution, and a happier, more engaged workforce? This panel asks us to consider how virtual education may provide new solutions to ongoing problems in the teaching workforce.
