Student Agency & Social Advocacy in the Classroom
Recording:
Student Agency & Social Advocacy in the Classroom, Date TBA
What happens when students are given opportunities to collaborate and tackle criminal justice reform, the opioid crisis, gentrification, and other equity and social justice issues? How does connecting students to community-based programs and experts provide a context for deeper learning? In this session you will learn about Beaver’s approach to project-based learning, how students co-create and design their learning experiences by examining issues, design solutions, and develop actionable plans.
