Serving Adult Learners: An Equity Imperative

Despite its stodgy reputation, American higher education has shown a remarkable knack for adaptation, evolving to meet the needs of shifting demographics many times over. Colleges are now working to reorient themselves around the needs of a generation of adult learners that’s more diverse in age, race, income, and profession than any in history.
