Problem-Finding Skills: UX, Iteration, & Feedback
Step back from learning HOW to code and focus on WHAT to code. By teaching students UX design skills, they learn to frame problems as opportunities for innovation. Our students generate app prototypes that meet authentic needs – no coding required. Along the way, teams explore a breadth of tech career pathways, and build highly prized, under-taught professional skills such as giving and getting feedback and framing questions for ideation. Not just problem-solving skills: problem-finding skills.
Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
