Go Upstream: Preservice Future of Data Literacy
Future teachers need to prepare their students for our data-driven world. But how can they teach data skills they themselves did not learn? By integrating data literacy into existing STEM Methods courses, pre-service teachers will be set up for success in “Analyzing & Interpreting Data” in their future classrooms. This session will preview strategies for two use cases of integrating data skills into existing methods courses and explore one of the classroom-ready activities to teach data skills.
