Transforming Cities into Playful Learning Spaces
The COVID-19 pandemic has made it apparent that kids need a wider range of enriching learning opportunities that address growing educational inequities. Playful Learning Landscapes is an innovative approach to education that reimagines the urban realm by linking learning science, placemaking, and community values to transform public spaces like bus stops and parks into hubs for playful learning. This session offers guidance for city-level policy change and scaling playful learning initiatives.
