How Trauma Impacts Learning
How Trauma Impacts Learning bridges education and psychology to help strengthen how teachers and school leaders show up for students nationwide. Many of our students are experiencing trauma, whether personally or communally. Research shows that trauma has serious impacts on the brain & directly impacts students' memory, emotions, etc. Therefore, to truly create equitable educational environments educators need to learn about the brain and ways to use brain science to help their students thrive.
