Strategies to Help Lower-Income Kids go to College
Attaining a higher education is more important than ever. By some estimates, the earnings premium for holding a bachelor’s degree is as much as 80%. However, highly talented lower-income students are less likely to graduate with a college degree than their higher-income peers. We can change this. Colleges and universities have enhanced their efforts to promote opportunity despite significant financial constraints. We showcase working strategies to enroll and graduate lower-income students.
