2 Stories: Experiential Learning & Urban Renewal

In many instances (e.g., teaching hospitals), universities have built partnerships that solve the needs of students while also solving the basic needs of the community. This session explores the history and success of a program in Houston that builds partnerships to solve the needs UH College of Business students have for professional experience and the need Greater Houston’s underserved community has for financial empowerment.
