The Dumpster Project: Inspiration as Education
The Dumpster Project is transforming a 36 square foot trash dumpster into a sustainable home as a STEM and environmental learning platform. This open-ended and flexible project serves as an experiment, a living lab, and a versatile scaffold for informal science learning. During this workshop, we will demonstrate how curiosity motivates learning and how to inspire creative action through an informal learning pedagogy centered on counter-intuitive experiences and emotional engagement.
